Terms and ConditionsTerms- The initial deposit is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation by the Musician, validated only by proven accident, illness or force majeure, the Musician shall be liable to return any monies already received and to do their utmost to secure a suitable replacement.
- The engagement shall be terminable by either party giving to the other not less than 30 days’ notice in writing. In the event of cancellation by the Hirer at less than 30 day's notice the Hirer shall be liable to pay 100% of the contracted fee. Only by mutual consent shall the engagement be terminable at less than 30 days' notice.
- Two full weeks notice shall be given of any proposed alteration to the schedule and any such alteration shall require the agreement of both parties to this contract.
- The Hirer undertakes not to make or permit the making of any audio and/or visual recording or transmission of the Musician’s performance except with the prior written consent of the Musician.
- This agreement may not be modified or cancelled except by mutual consent, in writing and signed by both parties. Any rider attached hereto and signed by both parties shall be deemed incorporated into this agreement.
Conditions - At least 2 hours will be required for setting up equipment and checking sound levels (providing there is direct access to the stage area with enough space for two vehicles).
- The minimum stage space required is 2.5m deep by 5m wide for band) or 1.5m deep and 3m wide for solo piano vocals.
- The hirer shall ensure a safe and direct supply of electricity.
- The provision of a secure clean changing room with mirror and chairs is required for preparation and storage of items during the performance.
- Free supply of mineral water and soft drinks for the duartion of the band's stay at the performance venue (please ensure the venue are aware of this).
- Hot meal or buffet to be provided for each band member and should be available either before the performance or during one of the breaks.
